Domestic Solar PV & Battery Storage in Penwortham, Preston

The Challenge

Rising energy bills and a desire for greater energy independence. The customer wanted a system sized appropriately for a typical family home, with enough battery capacity to cover most of the evening peak.

Our Solution

We designed and installed a bespoke rooftop solar array integrated with a 5kWh battery storage system, fully MCS certified. The system generates clean electricity during daylight hours, stores any surplus in the battery, and discharges through the evening — significantly reducing reliance on the grid.

The Results

The homeowner now generates a large share of their own electricity and avoids buying back peak-rate units in the evening. Combined with a Smart Export Guarantee tariff, the system is delivering meaningful monthly savings.
